Marc Chagall was a Russian-French artist of Belarusian Jewish origin - He experienced modernism's "golden age" in Paris, where "he synthesized the art forms of Cubism, Symbolism, and Fauvism, the latter giving rise to Surrealism" "When Matisse dies," said Pablo Picasso "Chagall will be the only painter left who understands what colour really is".

Pop Tarts are more pop up arts originals from my photographic albums of the past - re-imaged and imagined as digital paintings to savour and digest.

Matisse Collection
Matisse was a draughtsman, printmaker, and sculptor, but is known primarily as a painter. Commonly regarded, along with Pablo Picasso, as one of the artists who helped to define the revolutionary developments in the visual arts throughout the start of the twentieth century - here revisualised as NFT-s by Roger Davies.
